Londinium MMXXII

I’m Orazio. Welcome to my journal, where I document the chaos and charm of my life since moving to London. Expect a rollercoaster of emotions as I navigate the ups and downs of living abroad, tackling everything from relationship struggles and the challenges of gay life to moments of pure joy and self-discovery. My posts are a mix of pessimism and optimism, spirituality and sarcasm, filled with “what the fuck” realisations and reflections on life’s absurdities. Join me on this unpredictable journey as I strive to find my path, laugh at the madness, and sometimes just scream into the void. Jump HERE to see how my London dream began…

Central Line, Tube 29 11 2022

I’m in the tube, shooting through the dark tunnel towards the east. Leytonstone, once again. I’m drawn to the place, the cafe, the more small town appeal, and the forest behind it. It is sunny, and the air is crisp and cold. A real winter day, even before winter.

I was waiting for Topo to leave for work, so I could roll my joint, but he dilly dallied for a while so I headed out first. Also waiting for work to confirm some things so I could move on, but they didn’t. Fuck them, I already wasted precious hours of sunshine. It’s mostly bright in the morning. Past noon, it already feels like running out of time and sunshine, heading towards an early civil twilight.

I can’t wait to walk to my oak tree again, watching the squirrels and parakeets, and wandering through moody landscapes

Damn boss is calling … wtf

1h later. Phone call handled, takeaway flat white ordered, I’m sitting high in the tree again, trying to do some promotion artwork for work… I gave up. Should rather soak up the sun beams and walk around.
