Londinium MMXXII

I’m Orazio. Welcome to my journal, where I document the chaos and charm of my life since moving to London. Expect a rollercoaster of emotions as I navigate the ups and downs of living abroad, tackling everything from relationship struggles and the challenges of gay life to moments of pure joy and self-discovery. My posts are a mix of pessimism and optimism, spirituality and sarcasm, filled with “what the fuck” realisations and reflections on life’s absurdities. Join me on this unpredictable journey as I strive to find my path, laugh at the madness, and sometimes just scream into the void.

High in the tree

Leytonstone 17 11 2023

I’m currently sitting in an old oak tree in the woodlands next to Leytonstone, a mild sun shining in my face, relaxing after smoking a small blunt.

To be real, I just came here to enjoy some nature time and have a coffee, but the feeling of just getting lost was so tempting that I changed my 4pm Pilates to a 6pm barre class.

I love this area here lately, especially the hipster cafe with the quirky handsome baristas.

And it’s not too far from home.

Yesterday the weather was dreadful, so I also lit up the bong and took a 3 hour nap later. It was a wild and dreamy sleep, ending with a dizzy and confused awakening. Def don’t go to sleep right after fuming up.

I had recovered by the evening and cooked like a good housewife.

Also my Marlene Dietrich biography by Maria Riva arrived, old, used and worn. Hope it’s somehow inspiring, to be myself and live out my nature less apologetically.

Tomorrow I’ll fly to Budapest already for my dental treatment, and together with Black Friday at work, the trip to Vienna and Sepp, and a potential visit to grandpa it is quite a challenging trip. I should book some spa and beauty treatments in Hungary lol. More planning to do ..

I should walk a bit now to enjoy the float.

Ciao
